O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

Last weekend we went to pick out our very first {real} Christmas tree! We first went out for breakfast and made the 1/2 hour trip out to the tree farm. It was a beautiful, sunny day and so many beautiful trees to pick from! The kids had a ball running through the fields of trees and riding on the antique tractor ride. We haven't brought our tree home yet. We picked it out and tagged and can't wait to go after Thanksgiving to experience the fun again!

The ride was a little bumpy!

Mountains make the perfect backdrop for a Christmas Tree Farm, if you ask me!

Halloween 2013 - The Lion & The Bumblebee

This years Halloween was pretty low key, since we were in the middle of moving. We didn't make it to any fall/harvest/Halloween parties like we usually do. Grayson wore her bumblebee costume that she had from her performance in Beauty & The Beast and Garrison wore a lion costume I got a costume swap.

On Halloween afternoon, we headed downtown to the parks and rec building... Where they had a lil party for toddlers. It was really pretty adorable. Then we walked through downtown and went trick or treating from store to store. They had shut down the streets and it was packed, but the kids had fun! All in all our Halloween experience lasted only about 1.5 hours this year. And as for the candy... It's almost gone!
