GiGi's Spa...

So I have NO pictures to go along with this post :( It happened way too fast & I didn't have my camera close by... well, okay I was also laughing to hard to think!

As we know, GiGi loves her cucumbers! I gave her some for her snack yesterday. She took two out of the bowl.. no surprise, one for each hand (that's how she snacks, I think she gets it from me, lol!). She laid right down on the kitchen floor (odd, but she is still recovering from being sick - so I thought she was tired). She laid each one of the cucumbers on her eyes.

At this point, I about died laughing. I am guessing she wants a trip to the spa for her 2nd birthday?! :) 

I have no idea where she saw this. Needless to say, it wasn't from me! I barely have enough time to comb my hair & brush my teeth these days. 

I think she might have seen an advertisement on TV, in a magazine, or maybe even a billboard?

She never ceases to stop making me laugh! Even though she has no idea that it is so stinkin funny!

My Sick GiGi

GiGi has been sick since Saturday. We tried to take her to the Darlin' Duck Derby on Saturday & looking around at houses.. she pretty much just stayed in her carseat, sound asleep. We met Manuel for lunch at Red Robin, where she only ate about 2 french fries.

Sunday she was running 104.5 fever. Of course, she gets sick when her pediatrician is closed, so she had to go to Children's Healthcare of ATL. :( After a chest x-ray, catheter & other tests.. they determined she had strep. 

Over the next few days she didn't get any better... maybe even worse (105 temp).

Took her to her pediatrician today.. couldn't find anything additionally wrong with her. However, we he did discover that the dosage on her antibiotics is wrong. 

I started the correct dosage as soon as we got home. He wrote a Rx for a chest xray & CBC if she is not feeling better by tomorrow.

MAAMORN

MAAMORN is a "Graysonism" for POPCORN!

She loves her popcorn, morning, noon & night.. She really loves to watch the progression of the popcorn in the microwave. 

Today, she was standing on her chair... in the kitchen (shame, shame)... in front of the microwave. She was repeating MAAMORN, MAAMORN.

I looked in the microwave & this is what I found...

If you look closely... She had taken her "Quack Card"  from Grandma, & put it in the microwave. I have to say because of the coloring, size & the way it was folded... it somewhat does resemble a bag of MAAMORN!

How Do You Like To Watch TV?

I enjoy watching TV from the comfort of the couch or my new recliner.

GiGi likes to watch TV (Gorge) in the comfort of her rickity plastic shopping cart. I don't know how it could be comfortable, but at least it keeps her somewhat confined :)

Introducing Garrison!

Spoke to Maddie this morning, she reminded me of how many pictures I took of GiGi & haven't taken any of Gio. I definitely felt guilty, because I have not taken one picture of him since the hospital. So I quickly took out the camera & snapped a few. It is hard to capture how adorable he is in a picture, but here are a few for you to enjoy!

Well, she won't pick up her toys... BUT, there is one thing she will pick!

Mega Blocks

We bought some Mega Blocks for GiGi and she has been busy building! The only thing she wants to build though.. is a house! I don't know why? She just is always insistent on building a house. Maybe she will be an architect?

The interesting thing about the Mega Blocks is, she is really good at picking them all up and putting them away. They came in a plastic bag with a zipper & she doesn't mind cleaning them up at all! I am thinking about putting all her toys in plastic bags! :)

GiGi's best friend is her BeBe.. He always is there to sleep with her, play with her, and comfort her. She loves him dearly & takes great care of him...

T-P ... Anyone?

This is how we found GiGi this morning. She was watching Curious George all cuddled up with her blanket (umm, not quite) our TP. We got a good laugh out of it. However, as you can see... when I tried to take it away, she was less than thrilled..

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things...

1.  Grayson slept until 8am! (Unheard of)

2.  Went to a garage sale & scored some things for GiGi 

3.  Went to Lennox Mall

• Went to Teavana - where, I tried the Ginger Coconut mixed with Honeybush Vanilla (thanks sister, for the suggestion)
• Went to Godiva Store 
• Bought Carmel Apple Truffles
• Signed up for "chocolate club" & received a free truffle.. picked -- Chocolate Lava! (Yum)

4.  Went to Great Harvest Bread Co. (haven't been since AK).. Ate some great bread (pumpkin tea bread), while GiGi played with their toys (quietly!).

• Bought White Chocolate Cherry Bread (My Fave!)
• Also bought 9 Grain (Mo's Fave) 

5.  Came home & took a nap -- BY MYSELF!
