Reindeer Food

Gigi made reindeer food with her cousins this year. They gave me explicit instructions - "reindeer food can be made of anything as long as it has sprinkles in it."

Gigi had a ball making it and even more fun throwing it all over the yard on Christmas Eve. As you may be able to tell, we have had quite mild weather (I love it!)

A Very Furry Christmas

We took the kids to Sesame Place last weekend for A Very Furry Christmas! It is about 4 hours north from here, so it was a little bit of a drive. We ended up staying only 1/4 of a mile from the park in a beautiful hotel suite with fireplace, full kitchen, gorgeous bathroom, etc. (It may have been my favorite part of the weekend).

It was quite chilly at the park, but we were all bundled up with multiple layers. Unfortunately, five minutes into our fun... Garrison lost his shoes (which are my favorite shoes of his also). I searched high and low and had no luck finding it. The worst part of it was - he couldn't walk around & his little foot was cold! We tried our best to keep his feet all wrapped up in a blanket.

Grayson had the most amazing time. She loved all the rides! I thought some of them were a little intense myself - so it looks like I have a little daredevil on my hands!

We will definitely be making our way back to the park in the Spring, when it's a little warmer!

Grayson's Christmas Performance

Gigi's school had their Christmas program last night. They all had matching shirts with a cross on the front and their hand prints that resembled angel wings on the back. We had been practicing her songs for the past couple weeks and her favorite was "Go Tell It On The Moon".

She did such a great job performing... she tried her best to sing and remember the hand motions to the songs. Seeing her up there singing brought tears to my eyes. She is growing so fast and into such a beautiful little girl! I couldn't be more proud of my little angel!
Getting Excited! (I can't get enough of her shoes!)

She Also Copied The Conductors Hand Movements.. It Was So Sweet!

A Christmas Tradition

Grayson's Elf left her a special surprise this morning.. a gingerbread house kit! She was so excited and couldn't wait to begin! We started construction bright and early this morning, in our pajamas, at the kitchen table. This is our 2nd annual gingerbread house. You may remember last years... you can check it out here.

Elf On The Shelf!

As we were finishing our Thanksgiving dinner, there was a knock at the door. Grayson opened the door to find nothing but a wrapped gift at the doorstep. She took it inside and immediately started unwrapping it.

Once unwrapped, Garrison came over to check it out too! Elf on the Shelf!

Garrison played chewed on him until we gave him a name - Eli. Then we could no longer play with him or he would lose his magic.

We put him on the Christmas tree for the night. When we went to bed he flew back to the North Pole to Santa all about Grayson and Garrison.

Each day he has brought the kids a little present from Santa... Lip Smackers, new pajamas, oodles of bubble wrap, princess pens, advent calendars and etc! When he flies back home from the North Pole each morning, he lands in a different spot.. the kids run down the stairs each morning and try to find him. We are loving our Elf!
