Honk, Honk!

After nap time today I decided we (GiGi & I) should clean out the car before installing Gio's infant seat. Well the car to her is like a playground. When she is in it normally, she is bucked tightly... so to have free reign was definitely the highlight of her day. While I cleaned she discovered the glove box, mirrors, steering wheel, wipers & last but not least.. the horn!

Bowling

We took GiGi bowling for the first time on Sunday. Can't say that it was all that I hoped it would be :( She definitely suffers from that one syndrome... what's it called...? Oh yeah, Only Child Syndrome. She didn't want to take turns. When it wasn't her turn, she screamed, cried & threw a fit. She was also disappointed they didn't have bowling shoes in her size.

All in all, it was quite the experience. I lost, Mo got 1st & GiGi 2nd.. hey, she had bumpers!

More Mishief

As I was on the phone with my mom tonight, I was giving her the low down on what's going on with Miss GiGi. How she has been naughty lately! I was telling her how much better she has been today though. As I was talking, Gorge (Curious George) was on. I kept looking into the living room from the kitchen and thought GiGi must be sitting on the couch watching Gorge, her favorite! Well, after it was a quiet awhile, I went & peaked over the couch to find this...

She thought she needed to clean the couch, I guess? She had gotten the soap out the bathroom & went to work. What you can't see is that she had also soaped up her arms & legs! And let me tell you, she threw quite the fit when I took the soap away & really cleaned off the couch.. What a stinker (who smells like Method Refreshing Mint handsoap)!

Whining

For the past 2 days, GiGi has done nothing but WHINE. She has been whining over anything & everything. It is driving me nuts. Not only is she whining.. she is getting into everything & seriously misbehaving. I have found her drawing on the walls with a pen, taking all the silverware out of the drawer, throwing her brothers clothes all over the room... and many many more "naughty" incidences. I don't know what has gotten into her! I also found her on my computer & she erased alot of  the amazing pics I had on my SD card.. uugghhh! Believe it or not, that probably upset me the most. She has also peed the bed, dropped a bowl of noodles on the clean floor, and has tripped me about 3x because she is always under my feet. However, those are normal one year old things.. they don't bother me! Just more to add to my plate.

So while I have her being a pain in my neck.. I have been having horrible pain in my back! I am thinking it has been from carrying around, sleeping with, and coddling my lil booger GiGi.

However, I did buy some Space Bags & was busy Space Baggin' today. While I emptied boxes, GiGi turned them into houses, dog kennels, baby cribs, and etc..

Needless to say... I am hoping for a better day tomorrow!

Savannah In The Summer

We made another trip to Savannah on Monday/Tuesday. Our last as a family of only 3! We are there so much anymore, the people at the Marriott recognize us (well, GiGi). We were upgraded again to the executive suite! We were excited as it includes breakfast, dinner, desserts, & drinks. It also comes with a fabulous view of the Savannah River.. where GiGi was entertained by the passing boats.

We had a lot of fun & good food as usual. My favorite being the Hyatt's Crab Soup. You know it is great when you want soup & it's 100+ degrees outside!

The ride home was so pleasant, as GiGi slept most of the way.. (so unusual). So Mo & I were able to talk in peace! However, most of the conversation was centered around GiGi & Gio's upcoming debut!

Oh I Wish.......

Those of you who have known me throughout the years, know of my infamous 1st grade paper. The paper was titled "What I Want To Be When I Grow Up." Everyone in the class completed one. Most of the kids wanted to be astronauts, doctors, baseball players.. well of course, NOT ME! I wanted to be something that would make my parents proud and something that would afford me with the finer things in life. AN OSCAR MAYER WIENER! 

Well, it just so happens I got as close as I ever have been to being a real "hotdogger" this weekend!

GiGi was SO THRILLED.. They even let her sit inside the Wienermobile! I can only hope she will share the same high aspirations as her mother!

It has been a long time since I have taken any pictures of GiGi in the tub. So, I thought I would snap a few this morning. She always has such a great time splashing around & using her imagination. It's so entertaining to watch her!

A New Week...

Questions Of The Day? 

Why can I not make eggs or rice? Two "easy" things to make for most people. For me; however, my eggs stick to the pan (scrambled) and I won't even touch on trying to make any other type of egg. My brown rice ended up as brown rice soup today :( I followed the directions exactly... oh well, we just drained the water. It just always surprises infuriates me that I can never make it right :(

I remember my mom cleaning the brush spinner thingy on the vacuum when I was younger.. but YUCK! I never realized how disgusting a job that is.. So you are wondering what the question is...? Don't you think if you pay $300+ for a Dyson vacuum it should have a self cleaning button? I mean, my oven does!

Last question...? This one I expressed verbally to M earlier while we were at the pool with GiGi. He didn't know the answer (I don't think anyone would expect him to) & neither did I. If my water breaks while swimming will I even know it?

Rain, Rain Go Away..

I have to say we enjoyed the rain on Saturday. Although, it rained most of the day & we had to change our original "Saturday Plans" we had a blast making some new memories. Our day was filled with "Flip Flop Inflatables", Dancing, Playing, & Making Pizza together..

Kids Say The Darndest Things...

So... M does not speak spanish around the house much at all, with the exception of praying at dinner time.

Well, friday night GiGi brought a book over for M to read. It just happened to be a spanish book she has. She & I read it once in a while, but I read it to her in english. It's really not one of her favorites & mostly stays in her book basket.

She got all snuggled up on M's lap, he opens the book & begins to read the book in spanish.. Just as he finishes the first page she says "AMEN!"

M & I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face. GiGi had no clue to what was so funny!

She spent the rest of the evening in her "tutu" dancing around & entertaining both of us..

GiGi's Pets

GiGi has a pet fish & snail! Once every other week, she has the responsibility of giving them a "bath" (with a little help from her mom).
