The Laundry Monster

Most the laundry in our house is Gio's, so he helps me complete the monotonous chore! It is much more enjoyable with his company. GiGi and I call him the laundry monster though, because if the clothes get too close he will eat them!

GiGi - God's Little Princess

 My Mom makes it a point to send little gifts to GiGi & Gio quite often. GiGi loves to see her "box" in the mail. Whatever is in it, is SO special to her.. because it came in the mail from her Grandma. This week she received GiGi God's Little Princess Pop-Up Tea Party Book & she could not be more thrilled with it :)

Sleepover!

GiGi had a sleepover on Saturday night with Isa & Marianna. We ate pizza, had cookies & milk, watched movies, made forts, and of course swung GiGi in a blanket (her favorite activity). We all had fun and the girls were tired by the end of the night. Gio just watched the girls running around and occasionally put in a scream or two of his own. I love that GiGi has her cousins so close and they can make so many memories together.

Imagination At Play

 "Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge" -Albert Einstein

Yesterday after breakfast at IHOP, we headed to Imagination At Play. It's a hands-on play place for children 6m - 8y. It opened not too long ago and it was our first time there.

GiGi had a GREAT time playing in the water, painting, and grocery shopping. Gio also had fun, he was able to play in an exersaucer. Now, we are going to have to buy one! Moses was even able to make a lil' friend :) We didn't stay for too long there as Moses and I wanted to head to the Mall of GA, since we were over in that vicinity... A trip to the Apple Store & Gymboree was needed :)  --I apologize for the poor picture quality... I didn't have my good camera with me.

Tickle, Tickle

Garrison has started laughing out loud, his little laugh is so sweet. We have been having so much fun tickling him. But Grayson, I think, loves it the most. She feels so rewarded when she gets him to laugh. I love watching the interaction between the two of them..

4 Months Old

Our Little Gio,

Today you are 4 months old & I already can't remember life without you! You have brought so much joy into the life of your daddy, sister, and myself.

You're smile is contagious. Today we were at the mall and people would come over from across the way to get a better look at how adorable & happy you are. You have been rolling over for quite some time now & are already trying to figure out how to get up on your knees. You love to be thrown in the air (by your daddy), much like your sister still does. You have started laughing out loud and you have a deep little chuckle. Sleeping through the night is definitely not your thing yet. You manage to wake up for a minimum of 2 feedings. You are getting better at riding in the carseat, which we are very thankful for.

We love you so very, very much and cannot wait to see what this month has in store for us!

Graysonisms - Part II

First of all just about every word, sentence, or phrase is followed by Mommmmmaa.

Ode-Don-Tie  (said as fast a humanly possible) = Hold on Tight!
Buppy/Bubby = Buddy (her other nickname for Garrison)
Sue-Ka (usually said in a begging tone) = Sucker
Poke-Aye = Pocket
Bass = Bath
Daaee irk = Daddy's at Work
Sue-win = Snowing
Kookin = Cooking

Apparently she thinks babies can only hear her if she speaks in a high pitch voice. Because whenever she speaks to her babies and Gio, the neighborhood dogs are the only ones that can hear her.

She has her first canker sore today. She came to me with Desitin in her hand wanting me to put it in her mouth. I always would tell her that the Desitin would make her "owie" bottom feel better. Apparently she thought the Desitin would make her mouth feel better too!

The Rock Star Princess & The Lion King

Gigi & Gio had a great time at Isa's 5th birthday party last week. The theme was princess and the kids were supposed to dress up. Well, believe it or not - Gigi does not have any princess dress up clothes. So we grabbed what we had out of her closet & she ended up more of a Rock Star Princess. Little Gio also wore something he already had, so we named him the Lion King.

The kids had a great time. It was the first birthday party Gigi has gone to where she has been really able to participate in the games and such. She loved dancing, playing musical chairs & hitting the pinata. She was quite the party animal princess!

Snow Days

We got about 6 inches of snow on Sunday & we have been stuck in the house! School has been canceled for the past 3 days & everyone is staying off the roads. It has been too cold to go outside and play in the snow, so we have been playing inside.

Gigi is getting anxious for Gio to be able to start playing with her. She is constantly trying to hand him toys, books, food, etc!
