Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Grayson was really happy to see all the presents under the tree Christmas morning! One of the 1st things she opened was a Crayola art kit. In the kit was a pair of safety scissors. After she had the scissors, she really wasn't interested in opening anything else. She then had to open all the other presents with the scissors. I think she would have been happy just getting those for Christmas & nothing else. In her stocking she got a crocodile that she always wants from Wal-Mart, she was also pretty excited about that :)

Jesus' Birthday Cake

This year we were tasked to make Jesus' birthday cake. Gigi, Moses & I went to work trying to make the best chocolate cake ever.. I think it was a success! It didn't quite have the look I was hoping for, but tasted great. Gigi & all her little cousins sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus & blew out the candle... it was priceless

Christmas in Lights

At dark last night we headed to the Gwinnett Fairgrounds to see the Christmas Light show. We picked up some m&m's & Isabel along the way. The lights move to the music (that you have tuned in to on your radio). It was fascinating to Grayson for about 2 seconds & Isa about 2 minutes. Of course, Garrison could have cared less. But, Moses & I liked  it :) Grayson was excited because we let her out of her carseat & she was able to freely move around the car.. what a thrill!

During the car ride, I did have some fascinating conversations with Isa. There is never a dull moment when she is around! She informed me that she wants a Barbie Dollhouse & an Iphone for Christmas! She also told Moses that she had a dollar for him, with a number ten on it.. lol. She is too funny!

After the light show we went into Santa's Village. It was like a small Christmas carnival (and just as expensive). They had moon bounces, petting zoo, pony rides, train rides, and of course... Santa. Grayson didn't want anything to do with Santa. The girls & I went into the petting zoo, armed with 3 dixie cups of food. Of course, they were both not into having the sheep lick their hands. So, I had the luxury of feeding the sheep & goats until all three cups were empty, oh yea!

They had some fake snow blowing in the air.. Grayson loved it! All in all, the girls had a good time. They both went home with light-up plastic swords, which was the highlight of their nights.

Random Acts of Grayson

She is possibly the sweetest thing ever. She wanted to hold her "bubby" while I vacuumed. She is scared of the vacuum, so I think it might have been for him to comfort her. When I started to get close with the vacuum I would notice her cover his ear and say "it's k, it's k". He was not crying or fussing, but she thought it was too loud for him. She also had her arm wrapped around him & he was holding her hand.. Grayson has such strong maternal instincts, she is the sweetest lil thing ever!

Winter Wonderland

Bass Pro Shop has a "Winter Wonderland", we decided we would go check it out. I was really looking foward to the kids being able to see Santa. We went at 5:30p & when you walk in the door they give you a little card with a time on it. It is the time you get to see Santa. Well, ours was 8p. Umm, yeah right. At the mall with an infant & 2 yr old for the next 2.5 hours.. No Way. So we decided to just check out the other activities & head home. Grayson had a great time!
