Our Visitor

Yesterday GiGi and I had quite the adventure!

We found this little guy on our stairs (inside the house)! Mo wasn't home, so GiGi & I had no other choice but to trap him so that Daddy could take care of him when he got home!

Grayson Turned 2!

On her 2nd birthday, Mo had to work so we didn't do much. To celebrate, we went to Chili's. I am sure she would have wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese if we gave her a choice... but we I didn't. I HATE Chuck E Cheese! I find it overpriced, dirty, rude kids & even ruder parents. So Chili's it was.

She told the waitress "dirday" which is a Graysonism for birthday. I couldn't believe the waitress understood! She said "Oh, it's your birthday?" We told her it was & soon after the Chili's staff came out of the kitchen singing with a giant dessert!

Struggling with GiGi!

The past few days for me have been a struggle with GiGi. She has had her mind set on testing my patience every minute of every day! Here is a poem that best describes the past few days...

You make me laugh, you make me cry, today you made me want to die.
You always manage to make a huge mess, I have learned to expect nothing less.
Everday is a new test, which makes life hard because you never let me get any rest.
You are the reason Santa created a naughty list, and that I must pay to see a therapist.
You are the most stubborn girl I have ever met, but most people say that about their child, I bet.
You often make me have a glass of wine, but at the end of the day I thank the Lord that you are all mine!

This poem is just a joke... although we struggle almost daily, I love her to death.

For those of you that are not parents or have no sense of humor... please do not call the suicide hotline --

1. I really did not want to die
2. I don't really see a therapist (although some might think I should, lol)
3. I am not an alcoholic

It's Been 4ever!

It has been forever since my last post. It's safe to say.. having 2 kids is much more time consuming than one! You think that would be common sense, but I really just realized it in the past couple of weeks.

I have been trying to make the most of our fall though, since it is my favorite season! Well, I guess all I have really done is make some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies (which GiGi devoured) and lit an apple spice candle. PATHETIC. I have a box of fall decorations in the garage I would love to get out, but with the 2 little ones & a move in our near future.. I don't think that box will ever see the inside of our house.

Here is what we have been up to the past couple weeks...

-Found a new place to live.. CHECK.
-Had a Bday party for G with her Madera cousins.. CHECK
-Conquered G's strep throat.. CHECK
-Conquered my strep eye (yes, it's a real thing).. CHECK
-Went to VA to visit my family.. CHECK
-Gio's 1st rode trip (he slept the whole way there & back!) & hotel stay.. CHECK
-Trip to the pumpkin patch.. CHECK
-Bowling.. CHECK
-A lot of eating out.. CHECK
-Had a Bday party for G with the "Leopold's".. CHECK

I am sure we have done more in the past couple weeks.. however, none of it must have been memory worthy.. because that's all I remember!
