Sonic, Kites, and Bubbles...

The past few weeks have been rough around here. Grayson had ear infections, Garrison pink eye, and I had a sinus infection & strep throat. In addition to that, we have all been plagued with pollen allergies.


The weather has not been great either. That is what I am blaming all of our sicknesses on. We have had lots of rain and storms. Last night, we lost power due to a BAD storm and it was finally restored around 3p today.


That being said, we have not been doing too much, but just staying around the house. We did make it out to dinner with Bea, Diego, Milagros, Marianna & Isa on Sunday evening. We went to The Clubhouse & ate outside. The food & company were great.. the service left a lot to be desired.


On Monday we were feeling like we really needed to get out of the house. The sun was shining and it was 80+ degrees. We went to Sonic & enjoyed lunch outside, then headed to Stone Mountain. 


We attempted to fly a kite, played soccer, blew bubbles, let Grayson run around & let Garrison hang out on a blanket.


It wasn't quite windy enough to fly the kite.. but Moses & Grayson had fun trying. Moses had all the kids at the park surrounding him within minutes. This made me laugh. Whenever the kite would come down there would be about 5 kids tangled in the string. With all Graysons running around, she fell quite a few times & ended up with a gash on her hand :( She was having so much fun, she forget to mention that she needed to go potty & had an accident... which quickly brought our outing to an end.
