A mother's treasure is her daughter. ~Catherine Pulsifer
Dearest Grayson,
Today you are 2 1/2 years old! You are a sweet girl, with a huge heart, rambunctious spirit, and brilliant blue eyes. You find everything exciting and fascinating... you look at everything with such wonder and amazement.
You were potty trained shortly after you turned 2 & have had hardly any accidents. You can speak in full sentences although sometimes it is still a little difficult for others to decipher what you are saying (in this case, Mommy steps in as your interpreter). You can count to 10, occasionally 15 and your favorite number is 7. Your favorite thing to eat is a peanut butter sandwich but you also love carrots, apples, bananas, and crackers.
You are a little sponge & love to talk. You keep me in stitches with the phrases you come up with. You recently heard Daddy describe a character on The Office as being two-faced, you thought he said toot-faced and now are saying "that's toot-faced." On one of Mommy's exercise videos you also heard "this will kick your butt". Sure enough, I now have heard you say several times "kick your butt". We definitely have to be careful what we say around you!
You love the outdoors and could spend hours a day at the park. You especially love the sandbox. Your favorite TV show continues to be Curious George although you will tolerate Sesame Street, Super Why, and Caillou. You love to cook and often help make dinner (and cookies!) You are an amazing little artist and often have a pen in your hand throughout the entire day. Your favorite things to draw are circles & rainbows.
You are the best big sister ever. You love Garrison so much & he loves you so much too. You two are already the best of friends and you are always concerned about him. He watches you all the time and loves to try to play with the same things you are.
You now weigh 29 pounds and are growing out of all of your 2T clothes already!
If I could picture what I would want my little girl to be.. You would be it Sister! I love you so much and am looking forward to the next 2 1/2 years!
