Sesame Street, Fisher Price, hundreds of published children's books authors and I have one thing in common lately..
We all have been unsuccessful in one thing... teaching Gigi her colors!
My newest idea was to attempt learning red, by making Jello Jigglers. I let her go to work cutting them all out with the cookie cutters I have. Then talked for about 45 minutes about everything being RED. It went something like "wow, red pumpkin"; "great, a red leaf"; "awesome, that is a red snowman"; "terrific, red snowflake Gigi"!
Unfortunately, I don't think she is any closer to mastering her colors. However, the Jigglers did make for some good ole' fashion family fun. Daddy snuck Gio his 1st taste of Jello which was a sight and Gigi made sure we all had our fill of the Jigglers. She kept making hearts for Moses.. after awhile he said "No more please, no thank you." Well, she continued making her hearts and prefaced it with "I sorry Daddy, you eat this".

Hmm, not so sure about the Jello |
