Weekend Getaway

Daddy had to work last weekend. Instead of the kids & I staying here and dealing with unseasonable heat -- we decided to go with! The kids were so excited! Before I got in the shower on Thursday morning I told her we were going to take a trip & stay in a hotel. When I got out of the shower she showed me that she had packed our suitcase (that she got out herself) with our toothbrushes, toothpaste, & Gio's diapers.. apparently to a 2y old that's all you need for a trip.


The kids were really well behaved & LOVED swimming in the pool each day, eating lunch at Chik-fil-a & playing in the playplace each day & catching dinners with Gio's Godmother, Jennifer.

We got back home on Saturday & I am still recovering. Somehow our laundry triples during weekend getaways. Gigi definitely had a great time though & is still reminding us how much fun she had jumping in the pool.
