Georgia Girl

As many of you know Gigi was born here in Georgia & lived here her whole 2.5 years! But, as many of you don't know - pretty soon she is going to be a Virginia Girl! We are moving to Virginia in a little over a week now & before she changes into a Virginia girl & more of a northerner, I want to remember what a little southern belle she is..

1.  She greets people with "hello, sweetie" or "hello, honey".
2.  She thinks ever beverage that is not milk, juice, or water is "coke"
3.  Her most favorite restaurant is Chick-fil-A
4.  She thinks all mountains are made out of stone.
5.  She knows how to do the tomahawk chop.
6.  She checks every slide at the playground before she slides down -- too make sure its not too hot.
7.  One of the first words in her vocabulary was "sunblock"
8.  She will not leave the house without a hat on or a bow in her hair.
9.  Whenever she walks out the door she looks back at me and says "ugh, it's so hot outside".

I am looking forward to seeing how fast she will turn into a Virginia girl. I don't know too much about Virginia yet, but I guess she will start liking peanuts & history?

  1. Nope, its all those things you said above. Except hotter.

    And we have grassy "mountains".

In Virginia, especially Fredericksburg, its quite a melting pot of south/north. We are technically now considered Northern Virginia (NoVA), which is part of the "North" but you get alot of the good southern influences, and some of the bad. I am sure this area will let her become a well rounded individual.

Until she starts driving around here, then she will hate everything.
