The kids loved the exhibits from the children's museum, eating huge slices of watermelon, and making veggie bouquets. They would have stayed the whole day, if we let them. The heat just zapped the energy right out of M and I -- and we were ready for the a/c. I guess we are getting old.
The kids had enough time to visit every table including a veggie artist from the Food Network and a place where they were able to paint using fruits and veggies. It's safe to say this may be a tradition for us, for years to come.
